Aug 29, 2023Fantastic Hotel, almost faultless!
The hotel is amazing! For starters the staff are unreal and couldn't be more helpful if they tried. We were shown to our hotel room (after only a 10 min transfer from the airport) on arrival and the bellboy brought our cases up. We were in Villa 4 which was an ideal location for the water park and preferred pool. There were 5 pools to choose from that suited whether you were more party focussed or more relaxed focussed. We didnt spend too much time on the beach but there is a private bar on there for RIU guests and the water was nice and clear. There are men on paddle boards selling bracelets and other ornaments and trinkets that are very friendly and respectful. The food choices are amazing even if you are fussy eaters like myself and my partner! Even in the main buffet, there is 10+ stations to choose from meaning you are never left hungry. The evening entertainment is also very, very good. Professional shows that are always entertaining and never boring. The only thing I would say is that there is probably too many entertainment staff at the hotel. A lot of the time they are just chilling around the pool talking to guests. Also, the day time entertainment activities could be slightly improved. We loved the overall stay that much that we will be coming back for our honeymoon in 2025. Special mentions to staff in particular - Jason in housekeeping, Phillicia on the pool side bar and Trudy-Ann is the restaurant.

Hotel rooms are excellent food excellent wide variety for all. If you are looking for a fantastic time this is the hotel for you
Fantastic hotel staff friendly and very helpful we are having a wonderful time the entertainment is fantastic. The entertainment staff I would give them 10 out of 10. Well done guys for the fantastic work. Keep it up. I love the riu wear something white party. The entertainment staff had so much enthusiasm and Energy. The pool foam party oh my gosh it was out of this world the atmosphere was on point Brilliant. I can't Praise the entertainment staff enough.

Loved it!
I came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday. I saw mixed reviews about the property but decided to go ahead and give it a try. I'm glad I did! The property was beautiful, our room was amazing with a wonderful view and the staff was very friendly. Food from the restaurants were okay but that was expected. We really enjoyed the Italian restaurant and food in the main dining all. Unlimited drinks are the bar is always a plus too. Being able grab as many drinks as you want before heading out to excursions for the day was the highlight of our trip. I'll be back!!

The resort is very nice and accommodating. The good was excellent with a wide variety served. Multiple restaurants onsite. Buffet was delicious. The drinks aren’t strong at all. There is a surge bus that takes you to Margaritaville for free, added park.

2nd time returning
Checking was a little slow however, the trip made up for it. The entertainment was amazing and very different each evening. I really enjoyed the competitions pool side. Drinks were nice all bar staff were friendly especially Nickiesha I remembered her from when I visited in 2019. Jerk hut chicken could have been more spicy instead of just the sauce it’s understandable as the hotel is catering for everyone jerk pork would have been great and maybe for a faster service another grill/ oil drum or shade whilst queuing. The food was nice in Rose Hall.
