You’ll want to go, and go back and back and back.

The whole trip was amazing. It blows my mind when people complain about the kind of rum they didn’t have. This resort clearly takes pride in how they treat guests. My wife and I loved it. We bought into the privilege club. I recommend you take the time to listen to what they say when they offer to tell you about it. It was Damn hot there all week but you know what, you’re in the Caribbean lol. We did stay on the grand side, but you have the option for luxury as well, and that’s where we will be when we come back. This is my second stay here and will be not the last. Lots of food there and it’s there when you want it, either the buffet or the a La carts. Great food. Great taste. Stored out in the buffet accordingly. Fyi, we went to Ocho Rios and the falls were incredible and you must try it. Shopping in Ocho Rios was not all that less expensive. Alcohol? We took a private taxi from the airport when we arrived there. Overall, an amazing trip thank you to the entire staff at the resort. Respect.

    Jamaica Jamaica

The resort is well attended to. The rooms were very nice. The central air was top notch so we weren’t bothered with any noise. The food and services were very good. Would definitely go there again but would stick to the adult only section.

    Low season - Reduced facilities

We chose to stay in the Grand on this vacation rather than the Luxury where we had stayed before. We hadn't realised that September is low season, so the hotel had quite low room occupancy, and several blocks are being refurbished. This meant overall a quiet holiday. A large section of the pool was closed off. Unfortunately, this was adjacent to the Privilege club pool bar, which meant the bar wasn't really available for most of the time. Consider relating the Privilege bar to a section of pool that is not affected by pool closure. It would have been useful to know that the full suite of Alacarte restaurant was not running, and we didn't manage to get a booking in Picasso, and the Tepenyaki was closed throughout. The beach entertainment staff Nicola and Derice were always high energy and got the guests involved in the games. Even when the guests didn't speak English, they did their best to find a way to communicate. The water aerobics in the sea was very enjoyable. The Privilege area of the beach would benefit from a WiFi update and the provision of charging points.

Guest experience: staff jodian core she was the worst server in the pieces restaurant, her face is sour, not pleasant

Jodian core has an unpleasant face, attitude stink, a work ethic not good, talking about breakage she head it she don't care how she pack the trolley she is using. She need a 6months training about customer service and guest service as well as how her appearance should look like in and around the restaurant.

Lovely hotel with fun for all

Myself & 7 other family members visited Bahia Principal Grand Jamaica for 14 nights. We had an amazing view of the pool & beach which is what you hope for when you visit the beautiful island of Jamaica. The hotel is large & has activities for all age groups. Staff members are helpful & work extremely hard to ensure guest have a good stay. My seven year old daughter attended the Kids Club when we stayed at the resort and she loved it. Nyoka, Shanique, Dahlian & Tahshan are all amazing and made my daughter feel very welcome. My daughter participated in cooking, sports, art, jewellery making, had fun at the water park and the beach. Staff members communicated via WhatsApp sharing pictures & asking questions. Which was really reassuring as a parent. The jerk place on the beach is definitely worth checking out as it was always on point. There are shops in the hotel that are unfortunately not run by Jamaicans which is very disappointing. Therefore I personally preferred to buy any items from Dretal’s Uniqie Collections which is ran by Jamaicans. The shop is on the resort but not inside the main hotel, which is a shame as I visited Jamaica to see the beauty and to support Jamaican businesses. Jamaica has food growing all over the island such as Ackee, pumpkin, green banana & yam etc…. Therefore I hope the hotel are working in partnership with Jamaicans to supply food to the hotel. If yes I feel this should be advertised so guest know food products are fresh and that they are supporting the locals. Finally the hotel grounds are stunning the gardeners do an amazing job. Thank you for a lovely stay 😁
