Relaxation, beauty and hospitality unlike anything else!

My husband and I took our 20 & 22 year old daughters to celebrate so many achievements that didn't get celebrated during covid (graduations from high school and college as well as one getting a job related to her degree and moving out on her own). This place was a dream. Heriberto, Mr. Happy, Eduardo (Mr. Coffee), Yohanna, Natali, Maria, Soranyi, Wilkins, Beatriz, and Marcello became family and made our trip more than a trip, but our home. From the "Welcome Home" upon entering the property the first day, to "It's a pleasure" at every single encounter, this staff went above and beyond to make you feel special and important. The individuals listed above will forever remain an important part of our lives at a time that peace and tranquility were very much needed by the 4 of us. By day two, they knew our likes and dislikes; our wants and needs; our level of engagement. Thank you to Mr. Happy for a special, authentic Dominican Republic lunch prepared just for our family, as well as for all the great conversations! Thank you to Eduardo (Mr. Coffee) for the most genuine smile each morning and his remembrance of an iced latte for my daughter. Thank you to Natali for a tea time that was so very special for my youngest and me! Thank you to Maria, Soranyi, and Yohanna who made each dinner such a special one, wanting us to only go where they were working so that we could enjoy their smiles, charisma, and Mamma Juana (sexy!!)! Thank you to Wilkins who not only gave a wonderful foot massage on the beach, but always helped us, without us asking, move beach chairs to the perfect location, and for being so responsive in scheduling our beach massages and facials! Thank you to Beatriz, who working there for only one week carried herself like she had been there for a lifetime! She remembered what we liked to drink (no garnishments please!) and had a smile that was contagious! Thank you to Marcello who made evening activities in the lobby so much fun! "We love you!" While enjoying the evening entertainment, we knew Marcello would be entertainment as well! We looked forward to our evenings with him! Most importantly, a huge, genuine thank you to Heriberto! We had an issue with our ground transportation on the way to the resort. He assisted us in ensuring there would be no issues on our return, spending a couple of days working with the agency to make sure we were set. He had trouble getting in touch with them but was determined to make sure we were taken care of, keeping us in the loop during the entire process. The most impactful thing he did was when asked if we wanted to surprise our two daughters with a ceremony on the beach to celebrate their graduation achievements. Despite a massive downpour, the event was more meaning and special than anything we could have done that week. Thank you to Heriberto for recognizing our girls' achievements and for taking the extra step to even surprise them with decorations and a cake in their room. As I work in hospitality at home, we shared stories and I truly enjoyed his perspective and approach to the work he does. He was the definition of hospitality!! Our final day at Zoetry, the power went out at the entire resort in the morning. My heart went out to the General Manager as I know from our own hotels my company runs in the US what that entails to keep guests happy and staff equipped to handle the situation. I never saw the GM, but knew what she had to be doing in the background. Her staff handled it with grace and compassion, doing their best to keep things running smoothly. Power was out for a couple of hours and other than a delay in breakfasts being served, I think things were seamless! Kudos to the GM and the staff. I have two disappointments: 1. A couple days before we left, the spa (whirlpools, sauna, steam room) was closed down for renovations. Had we known this earlier in the week, we would have taken advantage of it at the beginning of the trip. We did not know about it until we went to the spa to enjoy and there were signs that it was closed for the rest of the week. I completely understand renovations and support them. Communication upon arrival or earlier in the week would have been great so that we could plan accordingly. 2. We had to leave! I literally cried in our transport on the way to the airport. I needed the retreat, relaxation and disconnect from the real world. I didn't know how much I needed it until I was at Zoetry. What I wasn't prepared for was how this resort and the staff would far exceed any expectation of relaxation...but more importantly I was not prepared for how important they made my family and me feel. While I believe all Zoetrys must carry this same level of hospitality, I would choose to revist Zoetry Agua Punta Cana in a heartbeat! This is my new safe space, my new happy place I will go to mentally when I need to "escape" , and my new place to tell EVERYONE they should go! I will be nagging my husband to return! Thank you, Zoetry Agua Punta Cana, for a dream vacation turned reality!

    A week in paradise!

We were spoiled all week at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana! The whole resort gives a very tropical feel and all of the rooms and buildings look like bungalows in the jungle. The staff took care of us and made us feel like family all week! Sagrario was our concierge for the week and she kept us well informed of dinner plans/options, spa appointments, and other happenings that took place at the resort throughout the week. She was wonderful and so attentive and sweet! Rosalinda’s smile shines brighter than the Caribbean sunshine! She went above and beyond and always made sure that we had drinks by the beach. She even arranged a full Dominican lunch on the beach for us out of the kindness of her heart just so we could experience authentic Dominican food. And it did not disappoint! It was delicious!! The food at all of the restaurants was fresh and was unlike any food we’ve had at other all inclusive resorts that we have been to, in the best way possible. The food did not feel like it was mass-produced and genuinely tasted fresh, high quality, and like it was made to order. We had lunch at Indigo most days, where Leidy would greet us with the sweetest smile! One night, we had dinner on the beach and Eduardo Santana took great care of us and was so attentive and kind! Soranyi made sure that each night at dinner that we had delicious drinks from the bar, as well as yummy fresh bread! She was always so sweet and happy to recommend her favorite dishes to us. Some nights there was only one restaurant open, which was a little bit of a bummer because it took away any variety of dinner options, but I think it maybe had something to do with low volume of guests. Nonetheless, dinner was spectacular every night. Before dinner we would go to the lobby bar, where Marcelo took great care of us every time! He was always singing to us and recommending new and delicious drinks for us to try. The beach was beautiful and pristine!! The water was PERFECT. They worked so hard to keep the seaweed cleaned up, and they did a wonderful job! The only undesirable part about the beach were the beach vendors, they were pretty pushy and relentless at times. But we didn’t let that stop us from relaxing and enjoying the warm Caribbean Sea! We had a GREAT week and are already looking forward to coming back to this resort! It was one of the best weeks of our lives!

    Awesome week at Zoetry

Heriberto Martinez was the most awesome butler we have ever had. We encountered a couple problems that were outside of the Resorts happenings and he stepped up to take care of anything that came our way and more. Very friendly knowledgeable and aware of all the resorts happenings. Highly recommend Zoetry because of Heriberto.

Member Services Do NOT care about the unfortunate loss of my MOM

I am Extremely disappointed with this resort’s response to the death in my family. I am a member of AM Resorts; my husband and I were scheduled to vacation at the resort this July 2023. Due to the unforeseeable death of my mom because of pancreatic cancer in June 2023, I had to cancel my reservation. As a member I used my premier night points for this booking. Because the cancelation occurred less than 30 days before my travel date, I was penalized 2 points. However, there is a clause in the policy that states if it's due to unforeseen circumstances like a death the penalty can be waived if support is provided. I provided the death certificate, and I was still denied. The interesting thing is that we also had a reservation with Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana. They honored the clause in the policy and returned my penalty points. This really left me extremely upset with Zoetry Agua Punta Cana because they did not show the same compassion or empathy and made a conscious effort to deny the waiving of my penalty points. I do not want to spend my time at a resort that consists of leaders that can’t sympathize with such a loss and honor the clause in their policy. This resort will never have to worry about me or my family booking anything again at this resort.

    My Daughter's 18th birthday

Beautiful place amazing service, food and comfort. Our concierge Alejandro was fantastic and made our trip so special. Laidy, the hostess was so sweet and felt like family by the end of our weekend. Beatriz on the beach and Elizabeth at the front desk were warm and attentive. We cannot wait to go back!
